A panel of GPA authors will share their experiences becoming published and answer your questions. This session is for potential authors to share ideas on how to pick a topic for an article.

Speakers:
Barbara Roberts is a grant professional with 20 years in the field, working in many non-profit sectors and winning grants from private and corporate foundations as well as federal, state, and local government funders. The co-editor of the Journal of the GPA for seven years, Barbara is among the many authors published by the Journal. She has been the chair of the GPA Publications Committee for the past five years and oversees the Journal of the GPA, GPA Strategy Papers, and Grant News Weekly.
David Lindeman, CFRE, GPC, is president of Global Grant Solutions in Washington, DC and helps nonprofits secure grants for programs in education, health, human services, and international development. David has over 20 years’ experience in the grants field, both as a grantseeker and grantmaker. He is Editor of the Journal of the GPA and GPA Strategy Papers. He is President, GPA National Capital Area chapter, and Secretary, Board of Directors, Grant Professionals Certification Institute.
Alli Sribarra has spent 14 years working with nonprofits of all sizes on grant management, budgeting, grant writing, and other fundraising and membership activities. For the past five years she has worked at the Sciencenter, where she has primary responsibility for proposal development and grant reporting, along with funder cultivation and stewardship. Alli is the newest member of the GPA Publications Committee and editor of the GPA Grant News Weekly.
